Headunit going to set up!!!

Every time I then my engine on my new headunit keeps going into set up and not storing anything I put on before, I think I read before I may have to disconnect the yellow and red wires and connect red to yellow red to yellow on the connectors is this correct? Picture attached is what came with the headunit and the red and yellow connectors I mean

When I installed my Pioneer headunit I had to swap red to yellow.

Yh this is a pioneer headunit to, so place red bullet connector into yellow bullet connector yes ?

yup this happened to mine, just swap the red and the yellow so it goes red - yellow, yellow - red.

seems to be the done thing for pioneers, my mvh-350bt needed this done to! and a god dam aerial adapter

Does any one find the areial adaptor abit loose fitting to the areial cable alright fitted

my ebay one fitted snug in the headunit altho the bit the original lead plugs into wasnt the best

Would this be the same for Kenwood headunits?

Its with most VAG cars that they have to be switched over. I have not come across this problem with any other make of car.
