The limit is 40mm lowering on the non cupra r models as the driveshaft knocks on the anti roll bar

Problematic stock arb

50mm front, 30mm rear. Probably sits a little lower than this now since the springs settled.

No knocking, with over the top ARB.

Mine used to be similar height to this on my FR Petrol. NEVER had any arb knocking.

Excuse the dirt:

Never hit the sump.

On my FR+ that I have now, the sump sits a LOT lower so lowering that much would concern me.

Stuff the shallow sump! Not required! Hits the subframe at the dogbone mount before it gets the sump

So you'd have to be pretty stupid to hit the sump!

Im on coils and drive like a looney

Your right that the sub frame is lower but it is behind the sump so the sump is the first to get hit I have managed 3 in a month im looking into the shallow sump and engine spacers now

Trust me, it's no good being this low the shocks burst, all of them and it's now just riding on springs, no shock at all it sucks, too bumpy, harsh as anything.

But I'm running fk street coilies and I'm not sure of the size of my wheels, (will go check now ) bought them second hand off a lad that had them on his car, with the forge 5mm spacers. It looked spot on when I first done it, if it was a tad bit higher I would have loved it as I can't get any one in the back, this is my daily driver and family car.
