Please watch this and tell me what you think... My dad can't hear it cause he's an old ******* and it's too high frequency for his ears!

It started a lot quieter than this but just drove home from Newcastle and it started making this noise...

Any help appreciated! Only had the car 6 days!

The car is remapped to 170ish and has had a boost pipe replaced.

Earphones not advised! Or if so then turn it down!

Sounds too high pitched for a boost leak, but I wouldn't rule it out. Have you had a poke round the engine bay? Check for loose pipes or boost pipes with oil on the couplings, that's a good sign that something is leaking. Does it get louder under load, ie accelerating up a hill?

Could also be a bearing, aux belt tensioner maybe?

Egr related, either split in a hard pipe. Maybe the convoluted pipe between exhaust manifold and egr valve.

Or if the egr has been blanked off, then possibly leaking from the blank area.

You were right mate! Any chance you could find me the correct part? Is this the part number? I don't know if it's right. 038131521J
