ADR engine in my LC???

Hi guys looking at my engine it says ADR is that right for a 1.8t???

yes you are correct there. maybe someone has used the ADR block

the 1.8 20v t and 1.8 20v block shock be the same i should think

If I'm right the stamp is on the head so it coul only be someone has changed the head which should be the same

hope your right conzo if not then gotta get me a new engine as i was going for a bigger turbo set up soon...

Yeah thAts all it should be mines got a differnt head mine has a agu head but that's still a turbo one so your probs better off asking seat themselfs

Worth noting some ADR heads are largeport so it could be a bonus

Compression will be different from NA to Turbo, best to get a turbo engine and fit tbh.

Yeah but if someone has out the right head gasket and it's only the head should be fine shouldn't it??

Think the valve lengths are different and the 1.8t valves are different material.

Strong money for an engine built 7 years ago tbh.. Have a word with AKS/B5/JNL to see what need to be done to yours to put right if poss.

Been a while but started on the car... took the inlet mani and roker cover off to paint but found its not a large port head so is it just the head on the car or full engine?

Youd need to check the part number on the back of the block

At the back roughly in the middle about half way up, should start 06A
