I finally found time to open my Forge box

Before I did tho I debadged the 'Cupra' off the boot lid and fitted my Forge DV hose







Then I dug my new brakes out















So Forge 6pots with 356mm floating bells and rotors
After having AP Racing 4 pots on the Ibiza I couldn't not have big brakes

Think wheel change might be on the cards too

Only down side is the calipers are black so I've had to order brand new S3 vented rear calipers and carriers in black from TRW in Germany.
I've managed to get them brand new along with Brembo discs, brake pads and ATF Racing blue fluid cheaper than I've seen second hand ones sell for
Just gotta wait 2-3weeks for delivery.

I was going to get a set of the Forge brakes and then seen Andrew AKS BBK and went for them instead.
They look like a good kit and in black very stealthy.

I was going to get a set of the Forge brakes and then seen Andrew AKS BBK and went for them instead.
They look like a good kit and in black very stealthy.

I looked at a few options including AKS, I liked the stealth look to much only bad thing about this kit are the pads but that's just my opinion.

Be nice if they got under the OE wheels lol

Got the brakes out last night and put the caliper over the disc.





Then couldn't resist getting a wheel off to see if they cleared the spokes



Good news they did



Can't believe they cleared and by a fair bit.

Want to get them fitted but not sure weather to wait for the S3 rear and flush the system.

Yeah they come with yellow stuff but I'm not a fan of them tho. I'll use them to bed the disc in and look for some others.

Any one know if there's any others to suit the forge calipers?
