Dealer unable to refurb with their normal supplier as it is obviously specialist.

I am waiting to hear back from the Wheel Specialist in Cardiff who did my Mk2 wheels. Their website says they can repair machine finishes. Fingers crossed!

Scott, When my LCR wheels started bubbling SEAT UK agreed to sort them for me, I used a company local to me called Pristine Wheels who do the complete works to wheels... proper strip them back and go through a long process to ensure they are done to the highest standard.

http://www.pristinealloywheels.co.uk/

Give them a call and ask them... My white wheels on LCR after 1.5 years of abuse are still as perfect as the day I picked them up.

What about getting them all refurbed a different colour if you can't get this one repaired?

Will be cheaper than buying a new wheel?

and will be easier to repair in the future :)

Repair will be just under £200 for a full refurb / machine and will take up to 5 days. Like the current finish and colour so don't want to change.

Had a look again after work today and took a bit to find it which was good. Still annoying knowing it is there.

Will mull over options. Z and M0rk have suggested a bit of wet and dry and live with it.

In other news factory have advised badge may not be here until July!

Yep, skirts look great. There's a dealer demo on auto trader with skirts fitted. Bit steep though, I reckon.

Nice. More so on the SC than the 5 door. I'm going to live without them though as its a lot of dosh for something which adds nothing to the dynamics of the car.

Well above what I am expecting to be honest! Will be well happy if we get close to 30mpg average.

I'm getting 29.4 from my MK 3 Focus ST250 so I'll be well happy with those figures when I make the change
