I really thought they would have given the opposite effect, loads more noise on tick over and pretty hardcore on the road. What I have noticed is the significant reduce of wheel hop which is very welcome as the car would bang about badly when it did, so that's a good thing. Don't get me wrong there is more cabin noise under load than before but no where near as bad as I read. Its smoother for lack of a better word but more tight lol. Its hard to explain lol.

I have a set of BSH engine mounts sitting in the gargae that I plan to fit but I've never experienced the wheel hop that people speak of.

My car is 2010 and has 50k on the clock and the oe mounts seem to be up to the job???

Haha, yeah thats me. Was always known for driving like a fanny back in the day ;)
None of our lot were ever into fast cars or hooning about either ;)

Do you remember seeing how fast we can pass between 2 concrete posts down the broch beach Al? LOL

Seriously though, my leon just seems to break traction and spin rather than hop. Don't know why.

Love this colour, looks fantastic. The black wheels look so good compared to the white/silver. By the way what do you use for the tyre dresssing, it looks so glossy?

Thats what I use but never seen it look as glossy as it does in your pics. What do you apply it with?

how u finding the engine mounts after a week or so mate?

The engine doesn't bang about any more under harsh gear changes which is the main reason I got them. It feels more eager under acceleration as well as its less eager to wheelspin the power away. There's more vibration in the steering controls tho but its bareable.

I use an applicator pad, I use a good amount in them and leave them to dry for about 30 mins. Always manage a really glossy finish and its still there after washing the car a good few times. The only down side tho is the tyres go yellowish if you don't keep them glossed up.

Finally popped my track day cherry at the knockhill track day thanks to Kingdom FM which ran it as a freebie from 6-8pm.

This is me rather nervous heading out on track. All the pics and vids were taken by the wife who was on the pit wall. A load of friend went on as well which made it an awesome night.

Loved the look of this LCR on white grids

My mates Corsa C track car was rapid, 300+bhp turbo engine so I was chuffed to bits when I pulled past it and stayed there lol.

Me against my mates grey Leon Cupra.

And a few others of my mates motors. The first one is a my lassie pal giving it the beans in her 500 Abarth

And a few short flyby vids

One thing I will say is the discs are pretty much goosed, this was after 4 laps and they were that badly warped the whole car shook violently when braking heavily.
