Stated noticing that dropping from 3rd into 2nd is getting pretty difficult.
Do you think a linkage reset will help it out or is it something more serious?
Only noticed it driving this week.

Guys I discussed the N249 bypass mod with my mechanic who is doing all my mods up to now (APR specialist as well) and he is strongly against that mod.. what do you gain by doing it??

Haven't noticed any difference really yet, dv is a lot faster though. Gonna do some logs later to see how boost is holding etc

:censored:Decided to breakdown. Went to change gear and pedal stayed on the floor. Pulled over further up the road to find clutch master cylinder has split and was pissing brake fluid all over my hot manifold. Just what I need :censored:

Wouldn't hurt to do a linkage reset, do you have any issues with 1-2? How many miles on the car, do you know when the gearbox oil was last changed?

Nah 1st is fine and going from 1st to 2nd is sweet, its just dropping 3rd to 2nd thats the issue. All the others are fine. Mileage is 87k. I changed the gearbox oil about 2k ago.

There's a drain in the bottom of the Rad. drain the coolant into a 'clean' bucket. When you're done pour it back in through a fine sieve (sp?). Walla!

Realize it's too late now but meh! Just thought I'd say.

I had an even better fail! I forgot to unscrew the cap of the expansion reservoir, so the system was still under pressure resulting in a coolant shower hehe

(Was working on n112/n249 delete and replaced the coolant neck)
