I think the mk2 cupra oem brake set up is pretty good from factory

Is it something like 345 mm discs used?

If I get into trackdays again (used to track my old charged civic) then to start with I'll try-

Braids hoses & Ferrodo DS2500 pads on stock discs & calliper's...... Along with some Motul RBF 600 fluid.

Hopefully that will be sufficient enough for a few hard laps on track running stage 2 power

Pedal travel sucks with this kit along with a severe front balanced brake bias, the fact that it is marketed for the mk5 with a 22.2mm bmc is quite frankly appalling on forges behalf, they are bad enough with the 23.8mm the cupra r has.

Stock calipers have an area of around 2200/2300 mm^2 where as the forge kit is 2917mm^2

You need the tt rs brake booster and master cylinder for this kit; this is why you should buy kits from ap and alcon, 355x32 and perfectly balanced at 2350mm^2 for the master cylinder on the cupra r/r32 etc..

It's just as bad as fitting cayenne calipers.... The craze over fitting those baffles me.
