Clocks removal

Need to remove my clocks from my fr tdi. Cant find a guide so can anybody help please.

It's so easy mate

Remove steering cowling
Undo 2 screw on either side
Undo screw in top of surround
Remove leather thing off steering cowling and pry the speedo surround out
Undo the screws that hold the dial in place
And slowly pull towards you,

There are 2 plugs on the back the one on the right is a pain in the arse to undo the one on the left is easy

If you struggle with the right hand side plug you can kind of turn the dials to see it then take out the little storage holder (where the obd port is) and reach up with a flat head screwdriver to lever the purple catch upwards

Not quite sure I would agree with "so easy" more like "so tight for space"

I can get the clocks out and back in again within 5 minutes tbh, and I'd never done it before, I've now had them out about 4/5 times

I found it much easier after using the reach/rake adjuster on the steering wheel to move the wheel as far away and as low as possible.
