My Silver K1 & Track 172 Cup

Looks really clean that. Wheels have never seen a kerb though have they
What plans you got powerwise? Big money for decent power mods?

Slight kerbing and **** paint job lol.

Be cleaner once I start on it propa :) some real trick bits available for these :)

I'll props go Throttle bodies eventually, which I think can go on stock engine :) I'll be happy with 200ish bhp and real light weight shell :)

It's not slow now tho :)

See ive always had a bit of an itch for one but i had a 1.2 04 plate as my first car after passing my test and it has really put me off haha.
Be good to see what you do with it!

I had a mk1 clio 1.2 as my first car. Haha got me into fwd hatches loved it I'll see if I can dig a picture out of it haha

Got loads planned for it :) ordered a few little things. Got mot due soon and got a list to sort for that.

Maybe, the ring trip I went on last year has book for the same week I'm in holiday :censored:

So me and berg might plan a short trip end of August/beginning of sept. Wanna come?

Defo will mucka. Haha next year defo, crack on :)

Throttle body's and a supercharger, 280 -300 horses and some good suspension mods it'll be nigh on untouchable!

Sounds interesting that mega money I bet. Looked high compression forged engine :)

Removed some plastics from the boot Saturday along with the stero, bonnet lining, fog lights and interior light to save a few pounds :)

Took the clio for bit of a shakedown with berg and his car.

Report is I've got a lot to do lol.

Rear wheel bearings/hubs/discs new renewing along with new pads
Inner rack joints need replacing with new track rod ends
Lower engine mount needs uprating
Steering wheel needs replacing
Horn don't work
Airbag light on
Service light on
Both Rear tyres go down pretty quick
Really wooly like the cars say on jelly
So I think the shocks are gone or the lowering springs are rubbish
Top mounts are probably gone aswell

All this makes the car a right handful on the move, especially with the rear tyres low on pressure lol

All this tho and it's still really enjoyable to drive :)

Like the clio sports, my brother used to have a phase 1 172.

You should start a new thread for it.

I like the ph1's, but I had to have the cup chassis :)

Does it need a new thread you think?

I keep thinking about them mirrors for the ibiza. I think it would go quite well, maybe a couple kilo saving from standard mirrors too? Haha

Haha I had 40 quid burning in my paypal and a few desprados in the fridge haha

Standard mirrors are defo way to heavy tho ;)

Them mirrors lol, gunna look like Harry potter.

Awesome little cars the clio sports, more like oversized go carts IMO but still think they're great.

You should have some good fun it that toy.

yes dan !! love the 172. I have driven a 182 on a few track days and they are awesome cars. Handle so well. Few of the people i know here at JLR have 182/172's and have tracked spec'd them up, and a few of them race them.

Let me know when its good to go an we can go do a track day !!

Mate that arrived todays, thanks

:D

Cool no worries mucka. Know anyone who wants my antilift kit? Desperate for bits for the clio :)

Haha every standard part is too heavy, thats why we rip them apart ;)

Haha too right. I'll be getting rod of the heating and glass once it's mot'd :)
