lcr weird boost issue !!!

Hi chaps I have an 05 lcr only had it a month and today I booted it in second then when I changed gear I had no boost at all so I pulled up checked hoses seemed fine so I unplugged maf tried boosting no luck turned car off plugged maf bk in drove for like 5 min without boost . I put my foot down in 5th anf it was bk . What could it be .. possible boost leak ? Actuator stocking ? Maf ? Im puzzled ... thanks

Have you had it on a code reader? is your eml on?

Eml wasnt ob when this happend thats what confused me .. thort must be sticky actuator or sunat any one eles similar problem .. my eml is on now due to driving with no maf . But now has gone back off and seems to be running fine .. but still curious wtf went on

Sounds like overboost/limp mode. If it does it again try and take it to around 5k when it has no boost and then change gear if your boost comes back in the next gear it's definitely limp mode due to too much boost.

Thats what I thort . And just had tolling road and my boost spikes at 1.5 bar theb drops so maybe it just was too much boost
