Cylinder compression video

Hello.
I am having difficulty finding the right info about compression, lot of different opinions and numbers.
I belive that compression should be 9,5 bar on aqx engine, and i get from 7 on the 1st cilynder, 7 on second, 7.5 on third and 8 on fourth.

Can anyone confirm are those reading ok, or not?
Engine is cold, still need to do this when hot.

Forgot to mention, engine has 180 000 kilometers..
Here is a video of compression when engine is hot...more or less same as when cold.

my compression is 200psi within 5psi across all 4 cylinders.. which is 13.8bar

If possible try taking readings using a screw in compression tester, rather than a push seal like the one you used... Takes longer but is more accurate..

Thanx for the info, i am suspecting broken tester, altough it is new..
It showed on my friends a3 1.8t 6 bar, and his engine is in mint condition.
We will see in a few days..

mine is on 102k, 150psi across all cylinders all within a few psi of each other.

I have tested compression tester using normal compressor with manometer and it seems that it is very innacurate...when actual pressure is 8 bar, compression tester shows 6 bar...
So i will test my compression on the weekend in the garage using more professional equipment.

Today i measured compression again with another tester and it seems ok
Between 8 and 8.5 bar on all cylinders, more or less the same when engine is cold or hot.
I guess that sounds ok for 180 000 km engine, right?

For that mileage, I reckon that's ok.
