I was gonna fit them mate but I needed the cash to fix the gearbox. I kinda broke 4th gear at knockhill and the dmf needed replacing so they had to go.

I'm actually in 2 minds whether to sell the car or give it to the wife to use as the family car. I have always wanted a clean 20vT mk2 golf gti so been lookin at them lately.

The car I'd give the wife if you can afford too, keeps it in your possession for a quick blast now and again haha
Can't beat a bit of old school motoring though m8

Been looking into it and I think she'll want to keep it.

Some really nice ones about now.

I don't like the mk2 Leon's but this one has completely flipped my mind I absolutely love this car. Top work mate, again I love it.

Thanks mate, much appreciated.

:( Sorry to hear about your leon dude :( hope its ok in the end did the dmf cause the gearbox failure?

No bud. My driving caused it lol. I was comin out the hair pin at knockhill and didn't out it into 4th properly but I didn't realise I noticed the car not pulling away as fast as I thought. It could have happened anywhere tbh. A very expensive mistake. The dmf was just simply gubbed lol, no noises or anything coming from it which made it a bit of a shock when I went to see it in person.

1.8T's are yesterdays news, get a Mk2 and stick a TFSI in it.
