what collor you will put on?
Graphite grey :)

So progress.

Started with a light coat of primer the night before last

Felt like it went badley so I went out and got a can handle thing

Have to say for a fiver it's made a world of difference. Then last night I put a thick layer of primer on.

Then so far today they have had three coats of colour. Two light one heavy.

I've still got a can left so I guess it's best to just keep appling? ?

So to night it will be more paint then lacquer then a quick sand down polish and wax. The aim is to get the tyres fitted Monday but if I fail it will be Thursday.

All comments welcome.

Thanks for looking

Looking good mate, same body colour as mine, what problems have you had with yours so far and fixed?

You've got the same engine in as mine, ASV 1.9 TDI, is your's an SE or not?

Went to euro car parts and picked up these.

Paid £25.14 instead of £48.97 so all is good! Will try and get them fitted today

Good deal there mate, I wish I'd have just gone and bought the fuel filter and hope clamps directly. Still waiting on them to arrive, taking the :censored:! [:@]

Only problems I've had with mine are the boosting (which originally I had a turbo seized up, been replaced with a new one, it's done roughly 780 miles or so.

Main thing are the leaks, not checked my pollen filter housing yet but I know my door seals will need doing, most likely the pollen filter will need doing also. Windscreen will need reseating soon and I'll be collecting a roof material lining from a nice fellow from off here with the rubber door seal for it too.

I've got my mirror bodies to replace which I collected from Ronin225, since both got damaged within the first week of having bought the car, one guy punched the mirror off and broke the body, as to which I chased the little :censored: down the road but couldn't catch him as I was in bed at the time [:@] and the other someone must have caught the back end of my car and shattered my mirror glass and housing with their mirror or something albeit the culprit never stopped to say sorry or leave a message [:@]. Too many inconsiderate people about.

I was the culprit for having my aerial ripped off in a car was lmfao! I have a replacement but the weather hasn't been suitable to do the majority of the work I need doing as I have no where to do it without being dry haha! That and money as I said, hopefully next month onwards I should start seeing money I can save which could go in to correcting the work that needs doing on the car! :)

Have you done your filter change yet?

No I not yet had to go shopping for birthday presents! I'll hopefully do it tomorrow... do you need hope clamps or can I let the fuel in the lines run out??

Sounds like print common stuff going wrong with yours then I've
done 3 out of door seals on mine just need to finish the last.

Sounds like you have had quite bad luck then hopefully it will Vange for you!

Mine really needs a full service, cam belt and water pump. But won't be for a while as I have a holiday, christening and then a m.o.t to pay for :( I also have a quirky suspension so will be trying to convince the wife they need replacing with new lowering springs and shocks but not having much luck at the moment.
