Fan Washers on Ibiza Cupra?

Hi,

I'm not sure if anyones seen this mod for the Leon Mk3, a cheap upgrade of the washer jets to make them fan style.

Makes a real difference, and personally feel it adds to the car!
I asked in the thread, but thought i would ask on here too - does anyone know if this can be done on the ibiza, specifically the cupra?

I won't take delivery of my Cupra until October/November (i haven't specced the winter pack or leather, but i understand the car comes with headlight washers as standard), So i was wondering if anyone on here knew the answer, or if anyone could check the part numbers of the washer jets on the ibiza to see if they are the same as the leon (i'm presuming that the ibiza doesnt come with fan washers as standard). Also, does the Cupra come with heated washer jets, or is that a winter pack thing?

EDIT: i just checked the part no's and they seem to match. Ordered a set anyway...

So does the Cupra come with heated washers as standard? Or do you need the winter pack (believe that comes with leather interior too).

The fan washers appear the same part number to those I used on the Leon. The link I provided in the first post should have the part numbers in - just call ur seat dealer and get them from Parts. I found them pretty much the same price as eBay when I did it on the leon. Massive improvement tho, and doesn't waste ur washer fluid can also adjust up and down positioning.

Yeah pretty sure its winter pack only. It came installed on mine but I would have added it anyway. Who knows maybe all models are fitted with a common wiring loom which has a heated washer connection, but have the fuse pulled or something daft?

One thing I will say about the winter pack though - needs a heated steering wheel!!!

Haha, I did notice the Cupra comes with headlight washers, how do you find them - and is there a seperate knob to operate them?

Think headlight washers are fitted to cars with Winter pack or HIDs only.

Headlight washers are a mandatory requirement if you have xenons iirc. They operate automatically when you put the windscreen ones on
