Leon tdi 150 boost pipe joint help!!!!!

In abit of a dilemma at the moment my lower intercooler boost pipe joint keeps blowing a part (the one from the intercooler to the plastic pipe that runs infront of the engine ) I've replaced the boost hose with a new one aswell as buying new spring clips but the buggar keeps coming apart! I'm at a loss now at what to do? Any ideas?

intercooler plastic is cracked around fixings.

cheap easy repair would be 4 cable ties.

drill small hole and fit a self taper screw into the pipe/intercooler just in front of the clip

Drilled two self tapping screws in the joint , it's worked a treat thanks for the help guys
