Afternoon!

Gave my car a quick wash this morning, and noticed these flaws...

I presume the black flecks are tar, and they're accumulating on the wheels, arches, and up the rear of the car. Is there a cleaner that is safe to use on both paint and wheels?

Also spotted this - which looks like a scratch. But when I took a closer look I could see the outline of a sticky residue on the rear light cluster too. What's my best approach here for either scenario? :/ Definitely annoyed if its a scratch. Doesn't look as though it was inflicted maliciously...

Cheers for the advice - since this was from new I'm definitely keen to keep it looking smart!

Try some tar remover, iron fallout remover, then clay

Worth having a little clay over that odd scratch as may be just sitting on top

Got myself some TRIX - used to good effect on the alloys but wimped out of applying it to the bodywork :p
