What should boost pressure be.

Hi. I have a 180bhp cupra. What should the max boost be. Using torque app and a boost gauge they both similar at 16.6psi. Tried to post screenshot of app but says need 15 post first.

stock boost should peak around 12 psi and hold at 8-9 psi , 16 psi would suggest it as been mapped

Is the torque app accurate for all readings. Could vag com or something check the map. I assume that would be a stage one as car is standard.
