I've used electrical insulation tape so fix mine. Start on a part that isn't split and tightly wrap the tube about two-three layers along the split. This repair has held for two years now.

As long as you don't allow the water to freeze (use proper screenwash) then you shouldn't have any issues. If that fails, just buy some cheap plastic tubing and replace the pipe.

I just got a section of rubber pipe from a Toyota starlets washer system (scrapyard job). Then I cut the pipe clean in two and squeezed each end into each end of the rubber starlet tube. Much more flexible and less likely to happen again now.

I've had a quick google and those connectors seem to leak more because the pipe is corrugated.

The split is right on the bend too :(.

Going to give tape a try when its dryer outside.

Thanks
