Right, bit of an update to my
problem. I took the car for abit of a pasting down the motorway and I came upto a long sweeping left hand bend. I was going at a fairly quick pace lol as the the road was empty and bang the traction control started kicking in this time however It was kicking in on the drivers side wheel. As you can imagine doing that speed and the esp kicking in when it didn't require it was abit nerving.
Obviously the
problem isn't limited to the passenger side as originally thought. It's more apparent around town going onto roundabouts which makes it seem like the
problem is only linked to the passenger side. Obviously this isn't the case so once again I'm stuck.
*ESP is still kicking in when not required when turning both left and right when going at a fairly quick pace.
*sometimes the ESP light illuminates indicating a fault, when plugging the car in while the light is on it comes up with:
Brake pressure sensor 1 (g201) implausable signal intermittent fault.
Also when going into measuring blocks the brake pressure reads around +13 which it shouldn't be.
*When the ESP light decides to go off the brake pressure readings return to normal.
So far I have done the following:
The brake pressure g201 sensor was replaced with a new genuine part.
The abs sensor for the passenger wheel was replaced.
The abs rings on driver and passenger sides have been visually checked and appear to be fine.
I have completed a basic setting using vcds on all sensors relating to the ESP system.
