Hi,

So, just bought a Ibiza Cupra Tdi. Ive had various interesting cars in the past (Abart 500, Renaultsport Megane...) but am constantly balancing the need for something economical because of my commute, with something fast and fun. The Ibiza seems a pretty good shout!

Just about to start a thread about the car, detailing plans and mods on it...

TDI is great. had mine for 6 yrs, still love it. had it from new. 122,000 miles and still going strong.

What's the mileage on yours ?
I change my cambelt every 60,000 miles. Lot cheaper than a new engine !!!!!!!!!!!

My average mpg is 50. Mixture of town and dual carraige way.

Yeah - been getting about 50 on average... 55on my commute when I'm being good!

100k mileage wise, and cambelt was done fairly recently, so all good on that front - it really does seem to have been babied mechanically

do you have proof the cambelt has been changed ?

Receipts... And based on the mechanical condition, I don't have reason to be suspicious...
