0-100mph times

Does anybody have any 0-100mph times? Theres one for 0-60 but non for 100 so why not?

Probably because the majority of owners don't have access to a private drag strip to safely conduct a 0-100mph test?

Well Cupras fast 0-62 time is based on grip rather than power. And above 60mph you need power rather than grip. Ibizas just dont have the power. My old Octavia vRS 2.0TFSI with 242hp/383nm would have lost a 0-62mph to my Cupra but would have eaten Cupra alive over 55mph speeds as it would just spin the tires from 0-55mph but once it had the grip it smoked a lot of cars that were faster on paper.

No way a standard one is doing 15.5

depends what you are used to but under 20 secs is considered reasonably brisk.
I've got a pile of old Autocar magazines in the house - I'll post up some other times later for comparison.

Off the top of my head cars like the Civic EP3 type R and the Astra VXR are about 17-18 secs.

Found a conversation that said Autobild timed pre-fl Cupra 0-160km/h in 16seconds. And others showed times in 16-17.5second range.

Id say not much better as I believe the difference between stock and stage 1 is quite a bit smaller than people think. I realistically cant believe stock Cupra would make only 178hp. I remember someone dynoing a stock one and it gave out a little over 190hp and that falls in to the normal vag extra margin of error (vags usually make more than manufacturer claims). Especially with the much better than manufacturer claimed 0-62mph times.

When I was FBO with revo stage 2 I did 13.35 0-160kph ~ 0-99.4mph with 160 kg passengers, unfortunately that was the only official timing I ever had before I went hybrid.

Mine was GPS timed by REDLINE magazine at 13.1 sec to 100mph with a passenger and 1/2 tank of fuel on a cold damp day on Bruntingthorpe 2 mile runway.
