Seatsport intercooler fitting

I'm going to attempt to fit a seatsport intercooler on my Ibiza fr tdi.I've looked through the forum and have a good idea of how to fit it but I need to know if the bolts that hold the brackets onto the car are the ones already holding the radiator on or do I need new ones. Also what type of bolts are used to mount the intercooler to the brackets. Any help appreciated.

A breaker for the original, or an aftermarket one like Darkside Developments sell.

Are they not still a dealer supplied part or have they stopped selling them?

Speak to Dave at SERE through his subforum on here, if they can still be had he will get it for you and usually at a great price.

Got mine from a breaker off eBay with some of the pipework for a bargain price!

If I remember correctly someone fitted one onto an FR awhile ago and said that either there was a bracket missing/needed to the drivers side to hold the intercooler to.

I'd use the forge intercooler fitting guide on their website to help you along.

stupid question but someone might know better. Is there any difference between a diesel intercooler and petrol intercooler? As far as im concerned its just a pressurised heat exchanger so surely not?

As far as I'm aware, there the same. The one I've bought is off a 1.8 petrol, as my car is a 1.9 tdi. Pretty sure its just the pipework thats slightly different.
