Just booked my car in for a dyno on my car as I'm planning on using them for my remaps etc and want to see what power I'm starting from so I can get a good reading on how well the mods I do work.

Does anybody have any experiences of there mapping or any general work they do?

I did use them a few times, I use someone more local to myself though now. I still receive just as good service and pricing is a bit better & the guy is a VAG tech. But I'm based Shropshire that's why I changed

Been there for a stage 1 remap and also cambelt/water pump/tensioner/idler pulley change a few weeks ago. They dont bull...t you and what they dont know about the VW 1.8 turbo engine isnt worth knowing.

I recommend you go to R-TECH in HINCKLEY as they will do you a Custom Map to your preference, probably for less than a Stage 1 Revo map that Mid VW offer......

Also, for reference, if you go Revo and decide to switch to another tuner later on, then this can cause problems as Revo do something in the background files which prevents other tuners going in.

I know this because when I switched to Shark the car I had was already mapped by didn't know it was revo. So when the shark dealer come to read the ECU it put my car into limp because of Revo protection!!
