Polished one in LBB and almost 2 years later, it still sparkles in the sun - it's a lovely colour but only when it is spotlessly clean. That S in that thread is to die for isn't it - can only dream of having time / skill AND the money to do it!

Yes, My old man got a nuremberg blue/blue/blue from holland in UK spec (had to wait over 7 months for the darn thing!) but saved him quite a few quid £5k after taxes) for an 02 plate.

I can still remember borrowing the S and driving up to wales at any oppertunity i got to have a long weekend and enjoy the S for the driving experiance.

If i didnt have a kid, I would sell my Accord and buy an early 02 S. dont want the 'soft' older cars.

Yeah still going but less going on ... just enjoying hooning around in the thing. Keep pondering something new but really not in the mood for anything with a tin lid and there's not many other ragtops out there that provide as much fun for the same money.

Almost time to call time on this one - S2000 is on the way out due to getting a bike license. Got an Aygo for the daily slog and I'm just not using it any more.

In the 5+ years i've had it .... it has been pretty much faultless and is now at a shade under 100k miles and still as sweet as it was the first day I got it.

If anyone ever reads this and wonders whether or not they should get one or not ... do so and enjoy it lots :)
