hardwiring in a dash-cam

Has anyone hard wired in a dash cam?

If so, where did you take your power from and how did you do it??

I have bought a dash cam from Halfords, but don't fancy having the charging cable dangling everywhere looking a mess...

I've hard wired mine in, here's the feeds that I've used.

Fuse 21 is a feed that comes on when engine is running and fuse 37 is a switched feed.

I can see that you have 4 wires connected to fuse box are all of those wires for dash cam ? Or jus 21 and 37 ?

Just 21 and 37, the other two are for my boost gauge

Would any of you happen to know if the same principle would apply for a GoPro? Unfortunately the connector to a GoPro (for charging purposes) is mini usb.

You could use something like this or a micro usb to cigar socket. All you'd have to check is the input voltage for your gopro so it doesn't damage the unit.
