Just had a DNA stage 1 remap and EGR delete done today and what a difference.
Does what I wanted it to do, averaged 68mpg over a 10 mile journey when normally I cannot make the same journey and get 50mpg.
None of this rolling road graph business just straight forward map on a standard car.
Will be checking actual economy on a brim to brim fill over the next month just in case my computer is having a hissy fit since the re map, but generally it's spot on in comparison to the fill ups and all for under £200.
Will keep you posted :)

what engine, where are they based, what figures, how harsh are they on clutch?

They are in Pembrokeshire, its a 150 bhp FR, and has now a 31 bhp gain and 60 more torques.
Hard to say about the clutch but time will tell I suppose, all depends how it's driven.
I intend to keep the car so I don't want to be changing clutches every 12 months
