Boost gauge came without vacuume line

Hi just a quick question as I seem to have found conflicting answers from searching the forum

As in the title I have a auto gauge boost gauge but It came without any vacuum line

Do I need 3mm Id or 4mm Id pipe.

Dose it matter? and would either work?

Wont matter. 1mm difference is bugger all on silicone

well with a little warming 3mm will fit over 4mm, but you cant shrink 4mm down to 3mm

Just an update for anyone searching in future. 3mm hose worked fine.
