Electrically folding door mirrors

Am I correct in thinking, these are not "Automatic" and you need to turn the mirror control knob to the bottom position to fold mirrors, or do they fold automatically if you lock the car ?

I can't find way of automatically folding mirrors

Need to turn the button on my cupra to fold them. Not sure if other specs are automatic.

Need to turn the button on re other halfs copa. Was hoping I could plug it into vagcom and activate it somehow.

As far as I'm aware the only way to do it is to turn the knob to the bottom position, I think it's only the Leon's that do it automatically
