I have always thought the Cupra needed a little something extra in the way of a sportier boot spoiler. I was after something subtle and OEM and the best style I found was the facelift Cupra R spoiler.
The Cupra R spoiler was the inspiration behind this, a custom made one off. It was hand sculpted by a friend of mine at an auto care centre out of fiberglass on the car using only pictures of the Cupra R spoiler as a guide. The gloss black is also ala Cupra R style and seems to go well with the gloss black diffuser.
Im really happy with the look, it follows the curves of the tailgate perfectly. They fitted a rubber trim between the spoiler and the tailgate but I will be removing it as it doesn’t quite sit as neat as expected.
I will also be blacking out the white sections under the new spoiler so that they dont show.
