Hi Guys!

Took my car for a service on Tuesday. Gotta keep that service history up! First time servicing the LCR since I bought it last year.
Everything seemed to be ok until I had the list of things they found wrong with it during the service.

I was after some advice and what to do.

I have been eyeing up some Coilovers so this may be the best time to buy then and have them fitted.

Here is the list of stuff they found:
  • Nearside front CV Gaitor split
  • Both front lower arm back bushes becoming unbonded
  • Both front ARB drop links boots split
  • Nearside rear wheel bearing noisy
  • Offiside rear coil spring broken
  • Play in both front top mounts

I was thinking that while replacing most of the parts it would be the best time to get some coilovers fitted. What would you guys suggest I do? Polybush topmounts, ARB bushes and lower arm bushes?

I'm open to suggestions!

Any ideas on what coilovers i should get?

I am looking to spend from £300 to £500 on them, I have looked at DPM and they have a fair amount of coilovers at various prices. What are the best i can get for my price range?

I have spoken to DPM and they have suggested AP, Apex or VMaxx. AP are the cheapest.
Any experience with the other makes?

I have used apex dampers and springs on my old 106 GTI and they were a nice ride.
