New Cupra R Owner

Hi all,

Bought a 2003 Leon Cupra R which I saw advertised on here.

I can't put pictures up for some reason or the link to the for sale thread.

It has a Miltek catback, KW coilovers and a few other nice mods.

Loving it so far. Only issue I've had with it was yesterday the car would not start, somehow the transponder has fallen out of the key (key is damaged) so had to use the spare to get the car moving again.

I need to get a replacement key, anyone got any recommendations on who to use to cut the blade in the North London area? The casing etc I can get off ebay.

The ST will not fit in my garage I think, as the 5 door Cupra was a bit too long but has same size boot as the SC.

yes, it is about 10 inches longer...think they've used a couple of them for rear legroom.
still - you're happy enough I know

Haven't had the best of luck with this so far.

The AMK engine failed, no compression in cylinder 2. The dual mass flywheel went so I have replaced that and the clutch and have now fitted a BAM.

It's booked in at Rtech in Leicester for a new map in a few weeks and it will most likely be for sale after.
