Does anyone know if in the UK you can select having the multi spoke black wheels instead of the standard wheels without having the black line pack?

In the broacher the wheels are listed as "Cupra 280 19" 30/3 Black" but when going through the build options on the Seat site it doesn't mention them.

Think I'd prefer having the black wheels without having to have the black line pack.

You can have the sub 8 black wheels by themselves. They are £600 and lovely.

Here in Belgium you can order the blackline wheels as an option for 99euro :)
Ive ordered a Monsoon Grey without the blackline ;)

I would have definitely had the blackline wheels for 99 euros ie £72 if such an option existed in the UK - in other words we get charged another £428 to paint CUPRA black on the bootlid along with the 2 plastic side spoilers!

Not wanting to disagree with most others views on here, but ACC would be the first option I tick if ordering again. Ours in a manual with ACC and the only thing you lose against the DSG ACC is the ability to take the car to a complete standstill. The car will still pcik up / lose speed according to traffic (and that includes swapping your own gears). On a motorway or autoroute it makes life so much easier I wouldn't be without it now.

Forget the driver assist / lane guidance thing though. I haven't used it since the day we picked the car up almost a year ago. Don't like it at all, very un-natural feeling.

Wow,

So much helpful information. Thanks very much everyone.

I think I'm all decided on spec now.

Is there a thread for where people have posted photos of their cars? I've seen a few nice beasts but can't seem to find a dedicated one.

Just after a bit of inspiration as regards to the colour now.

I'm quite liking the the Monsoon Grey but does anyone have it with Black Line? Not sure if it would suit it with it being two darks colours?

You like to see a big bunch of Cupra's? Here are pics of a special Cupra 280 meeting organised by the importer of Seat in Holland, enjoy:

Greetings from Greece. I am thinking about ordering a 5d act fr. I would like to add sunroof, full led , media system plus and alcantara seats. Should I add anything else? If I order now the dealer said the car will be ready by the end of June.

I've gone for the Cupra 280 manual, black leather with the grey trim. Monsoon Grey, winter pack, navigation system high and the Sub 8 black wheels.

Can't wait but won't be getting it till the end of October so all you guys moaning yours won't be ready for 8 weeks then think of little old me lol

Seems a ridiculous time. Your not getting standard alloys or seats. What the delay now?

Sorry I should have said. It's not a delay from Seat it's because my current lease car doesn't go back till end of October so I can't have it before then.

This will sound like an odd question but I'm going to ask it anyway.

I've got a few different lease options I can take with varying monthly costs.

As I've not owned any Seat before never mind a Cupra I'm unsure of their depreciation figures so wondered if any of you have a rough idea.

I'm having the lease for 4 years and I can have a final payment option built into the lease so when the car is 4 years old I can pay a further £8500 and the car is mine.

I know no one knows the future but I haven't got a clue on if £8500 for a 4 year old Cupra 280 would be a reasonable figure if you wanted to buy one at that time.

Main reason I'm asking is obviously if in 4 years time it's still work say £13000 then I'll pay the £8500 for the car and sell it straight on again.

Have a look on Autotrader or some site like that, obviously the Mk3 isn't 4 years old yet but if you look for a 2013 car it may give you some indication?
