How Many Miles??

Hi Guys

Just wandering what sort of miles you are all getting from your cars.

We have just recently got a diesel for the first time and I am trying to see what is good miles for the car on a full tank.

Also, is it worth putting V Power diesel in or just use normal diesel, the car is a 1.6 tdi (DSG) Copa SE.

We have only just filled up for the first time on the weekend and its looking impressive so far, so I am looking forward to the end figure in comparison to what we are used to getting on the previous car.

2.0 CR TDI - around 510 miles to a full tank with a shot of Millers. Regularly see 55mpg.

07 fr pd170 gettin 44 ish on the long runs and it soon drops with a heavy foot

Do you put the Millers in every fill up, or just as and when?

Also do you use normal Diesel or would you use V Power, im presuming the Millers does the same as V Power??

V power and I get around 45mpg that's country road driving though!

Always use v power and I get 35+ from 0, all back roads, up hill, I give it some and it's an auto.

For my 2.0 tdi I get around 500 miles on a tank. Definately recommend using v-power! My Leon runs so much better on that stuff, definately one of the best ways to help maintain and prolong the life of your engine

Some good figures there, i am looking forward to the 500ish mark from the car, will be such a welcome relief in comparison to the 250 from a full tank on the Astra!!

A/C makes very little difference regardless of what you're led to believe on the Internet.

09 fr 170 pd tdi and i get around 475 a tank. If i go on long motorway runs it does increase. But soon drops if you give it a kickin'

It's an additive you add to your tank when you fill the tank. I add it to every 2nd-3rd tank I fill. Although I don't think it makes a massive difference when I use Vpower!

Another stupid question

Does it make a difference if i use supermarket diesel or diesel from teh unmanned go24 place where they diesel is cheaper as apposed to using the maxol , bp stations etc .?

Is the quality better .?

Also is it worth using the additives

As i have been driving abanged up clio 1.2 petrol for like 5 years and treated myself to a 1.6 tdi 2012 leon CR SE Copa 5dr in candy white .. Picking it up tomorrow morning and first thing im gonna do is fill the tank and maybe go to halfords for some additive what would you reccomend and why
