Just ordered a strip of Butyl so I can hopefully start on my doors soon!

Possible happenings today will be new set of tyres + power test! :)

I used proper seat sealant too. Not a bad job to do just more awkward while laying on the floor lol

Hahaa I didn't have the minerals to do it myself I would brake something trying to hammer a nail so no I didn't risk it haha... paid my cousin to do it drop engine oil and gearbox oil change oil filter bleed and refill brake fluid all for £100 couldn't argue at that

DIY Heatshield

Finally got round to finishing a heatshield following the DIY guide on here. Albeit Pipercross filter is too big so will be swapping for greencotton at some point.

Started her up for the first time in a month only to park her 100m down the road. Poor girl has been retired (replaced). She's still sitting in her snow boots and winter attire, unwashed for months.

Old toy VS New toy

Havn't decided what to do with the Leon yet. Might keep it as a winter beater or sell it for cash to spend on wheels for the Z.

Trying to decide if I should buy a cupra r in red with gloss black rims. Or a black cupra r with black rims. I can't decide out of the 2. Not actually seen them by the way this is just what's in my head and from what I have seen.

No pictures up as of yet, will have to wait until I am back home from my trip up t'north! :)

Yesterday (while it decided to try and spoil my day and rain! :rofl: ) I managed to replace my Fuel Filter, swap my old Aerial for it's replacement and also hopefully managed to seal the top of my windscreen.

Couldn't do the door seals due to rain and not having ample enough cover to be able to do it, so will have to wait until it's dry and more time on my hands! :)

Replaced the ignition switch as it was failing nearly every day. It was easier to do than I expected and took less than 30 mins from start to finish.

Oil catch can

Finally completed and installed my DIY coffee :think: catch can;

There's a piece of steel bar in the middle to support the scourer and a piece of sheet aluminium to divide the air from cam to tip, hopefully reducing oil/fumes

Thoroughly cleaned the LCR, inside and out. Its been machine polished, sealed, then had two coats of Natty's blue wax. Knackered.

Also cleaned the engine bay and cleaned the MAF with some isopropyl spray.
