Any help guys? noticed the other day that when I release my foot of the accelerator there is a distinctive clunk sound, thats the best i can describe it.. it sounds like it is coming from the underneath middle of the car. Also since this noise started they is a similar if not the same noise when i'm shifting gears, most noticeably when shifting up and as soon as i move the shifter. Just wondering if anyone can shed any light as all of the mechanics nearby, are either stupid or just waiting for it to get worse to con me out of money ...

This sounds similar to what happened with mine, turned out to be snapped engine mount bolts

I've had this exact sounding fault on another car. Have you had your CV joints changed or work done in that area recently? My issue was that the drive shaft nut was just slightly lose. Worth a check bud
