Hi, I´m going to get a custom "stage 2" remap. I´ve got a fmic, tip, induction kit, forge 008 and a catback exhaust. I was wondering if it is okay to fit a 3" downpipe+sportscat at home and then drive to the place where they will do the remap(3 hour drive). Also, is it okay to put on a stage 2 map straight from stock? Thanks in advance!

I drove my car for a while with stage 2 hardware without the map. There were a few codes relating to over boost but that was taken care of by badger5 when it was mapped and didn't affect how the car drove.

The fmic, tip, induction kit, forge 008 and the catback shouldn't have any negative effects on the engine without a map but unsure about the downpipe+sportscat since the downpipe is 3".

Like I say, I done the same, 3" pipewerx downpipe with sport cat, milltek catback, jetex induction with badger5 v2 tip, forge fmic, forge 008 all without a map.

Yep, mapped now, 272 bhp on badger5 rollers, may be more or less on others. Would be slightly more now as I replaced the sport cat with a decat.

Oh and I had all the mods for stage 2 on a stage 1 map ( apart from 4bar regulator ) . Drove it for years and had no problems . Only thing that has come up is eml light due to decat . Meant to of been mapped out with stage 2 but still reading as a missing cat .

There's never really a need for a 4 bar, until very high figures, you'll max the standard injectors out somewhere between 280 and 300, then just buy 550cc injectors
