Just wanting to look at different options between noise and performance. I have a Badger5 tip/JR. filter/heatshield combo on intake and it goes great but is very noisy. I've tried a standard Airbox setup which is fairly quiet but limits performance. Thought the bonnet sound proofing may be a happy medium as mine had already been removed before I bought it

Yeh sounds like you need it lol I want to remove it just to improve the look under the bonnet, don't like the black look makes it look untidy, have you notised a difference in temp without the carpet?

Inlet temp or coolant ?
Either way, I've never had the bonnet sound proof carpet so wouldn't know.
So, if anyone is removing theirs and isn't too far from Glos then I can give it a good home :D

5 hours away, how long would it take you to get to Manchester airport as I'm going on holiday on 29th June so if u haven't got a bonnet carpet by then I'll bring mine down for you.

Airport is best part of 2.5- 3.00 hours away so not really an option. I certainly don't mind travelling but a six hour round trip plus fuel is probably a bit much for a bit of under bonnet sound proofing. Thanks for the offer though fella :)
