Made a thread before but got deleted!
Wanted information about what was needed for handling upgrades ie. Subframe,Wishbones, arb, droplinks. Was told hubs too... what else is required?
Can I get all of the above from 225 audi tt and s3? What about any mk4 golf's r32?

Is the subframe different? I'm not sure...

What I know you'll need though:

Wishbones
ARB
Droplinks
Suspension (shocks have the attachment for drop links)
Hubs
I believe the track rod ends are also different (as the mount underneath the hub instead of on top)
Steering rack is also different (quicker turn)
Brembo brake setup(I'm not sure if any other brakes fit the LCR hubs)

Don't know what happened to the last post? Disappeared after I'd replied to it???

I've done the conversion myself.

As listed above the parts you need to do the full job are:
Steering rack, hubs, lower arms, ball joints, struts/shocks, arb, arb link rods.

If you've got upgraded shocks or coilovers most will have the arb drop link mounting already on them.

You can use TT/R32 4wd hub but will need the press the flange off your original 2wd into the 4wd hubs, or use the 4wd outer CV joints. The Subframe is the same but has a lower strut brace added which can be bolted across.

Loads of pics in this briskoda thread:

Only thing I've done differenlty is the arb, I already had a Eibach arb and KW shocks (without arb mount point) fitted so I hunted for a pair of the rare early TT arms that had the arb drop link mounting lugs on them.

I paid £70 delivered on a bidding auction, then I had to rebush them so they're not bad money I'd say with £100 worth of polybushes pre fitted and new ball joints worth £30-40. Good find.

I used the stock drop links, the stock bushes are basically solid anyways. The only stock part left on the suspension now!

I paid £70 for the arms (ebay), £14 for new stock TT bushes (Euros) and £30 for new ball joints (Euros). £20 each for the hubs off a 2wd TT, steering rack from the same car for £60 (breakers). I could have had the subframe with the extra brace for £40 and they'd have thrown the arb in for nothing.

I got bits from a breakers called 'The VAG Shack' based near Norwich, Norfolk. Worth a shout as I'm sure they do delivery.

I'd say his arms with new bushes and ball joints are ok price as they're the rarer arms. His other bits are ott.
