Yeh you need to take a saw to the engine cover to make them fit

I bought a second hand one off eBay so will butcher that so I can turn it back standard when I sell the car.

Neuspeed P-Flo and EVOMS seem to be pretty popular but there are a lot to choose from.

Personally I'm going to buy the P-Flo.

You would need to modify the engine cover for most.
Fella, you really need to do an advanced search. All of the information is there for you to peruse and make a balanced personal decision.
Not being a ****, this question gets asked weekly and as I said the information is all there.
For the record, I have the Evoms fitted, the cover needed butchering (details also available on here, I know because I used them) and yes I think it's worth it. However, you would probably get the same if not better power gains from a good panel filter in the standard air box but no extra noise or under bonnet bling.

I use an intake from CTS Turbo.
Looks like this and the sound is awesome =)

It feels like i´ve lost some torque on lower revs, but in return i got more power on the higher end. But to be fair, at the same time i mounted the intake, i also mounted a new turbo outlet pipe (also from CTS Turbo) and a new intercooler from Wagner Tuning. So i can´t really say what part made what to the Enginecharacter.. But as said above, love the sound it makes..

Regarding the enginecover:
Many of you probably allready know this, but you can buy a cover and mounts from an Audi TTS and it will work a treat.. Just remove the Audi-logo and add some filler, paint, and it will look nice.

Quadrablast, has your setup got the black tray that sits under the cone filter? Or does anyone no where I could get one of these?

I have the EVOMS intake, which comes with the black tray isolator. The filter also sits a little bit further away from the engine than the one pictured above

I made up my own heatshield for the back of the engine from a sheet of 3mm aluminium

Did you modify your engine cover?

EDIT also does the EVOMS come with the connection for the pipe from the DV?

I've just left the engine cover off.

The EVOMS comes with the DV hose connection, and also includes a bung for K03 cars.

I'm torn between the Neuspeed and EVOMS, got a spare engine cover sat waiting but can't make my mind up which induction kit to buy!!
