Wondering how you lads with the 280's, specifically the DSG model, are doing with 1/4 mile times and terminals. Especially the tuned ones!

Cheers

6 seconds flat @ 231.2 mph. Dusted a Veyron as well. Then on the drive home I dusted a 1000R on the motorway.

The 30-130mph day is where the DSG comes into it's own. Proven to knock 2 secs off a manual over that accelerating period!;)

That's my video, The driver didn't really know what to do so wasn't the best. Cupra never lost to the FR, FR was stage 1 though.

Some reasonable terminal speeds - especially the 119mph.

As a comparison my standard Golf 7R did 12.7 @ 107mph at Crail. The Leon is quicker once on the move just like the Mk2 Leon was vs the 8P S3 and Mk6 Golf R.

I've run high 13's in a 300bhp Mazda 3MPS.

I would expect a stock manual 280 to run similar.

Mapped should be mid 13's if you can still nail the 60ft with all that torque!

I would say 12's would easily be possible from a DSG car too. This was done on a stock DSG car with a horrific 2.6 60ft time (sorry Ian.. lol).

LOL. Thanks Ben, I have that vid as well. To be fair it was a crap 60ft time which makes the 1/4 mile time even more impressive.

I don't believe I was doing 119 @ the line, but that's what they put on the paper and said I was, I looked at my speedo and was doing more like 111/110 but hey ho, wanna get down Santa pod as apparently better times are possible
