Removing mirror covers

Is there a way to get the covers off without snapping them?

Try a thin piece of plastic (as to not scratch or damage your mirror) and lever it off. It is possible haha

Yea i just used a very thin flatbladed screwdriver. Dont be afraid if you hear a cracking noise its just the clips releasing themselves

It might be easier if you lever out the glass, and release the clips from the inside.

I put the mirrors in the upright position and got a plastic tool to prise them off. Came off fine and put new ones on.
