Third brake light goosed!

The centre brake light on my '61 Exeo 143 has gone

When I apply the brake I get a loud BEEP and a warning light on the dash.

I've took the light out and have re-soldered all of the LED pins in case any of the old solder had dried out but it hasn't made a difference, some LED's are ok but some flicker.

They're £60-65 new and I don't think they are strippable to replace individual LED's.

Does anyone know if the Audi B7 one's fit? They look different on eBay pics but the plug looks the same, and there's loads for sale, some at £9!

I have the MOT soon so worried it might fail on this.

Just Remove the unit. Can't fail for centre brake light anyway. But if removed its permanentley disconnected so it's exempt from test

Thanks Tony, it passed MOT this morning unplugging it.

I'll see if the B7 one fits to save me £50
