Thanks mate. Just a decision as to what to get though. Possibly a BMC twin cone as I love the look of them. But thinking of a K and N 57i as well? So many to choose and I'm pretty sure there will be no difference that is noticeable in performance anyway so I need to just make my mind up. Lol

Along with the pipercross, they have all been proven to give good flow to the turbo. You've got one of the best intake pipes as well so whatever cone you put on will only give you probably 5 horses at it's max IMO. I went with the BMC to go with the red theme under the bonnet! lol

Lots in the pipeline ready to in my pile of bits but struggling to find time:

Team dynamic 1.2 wheels and new eagle f1 tyres.
Jabbasport heat shield and ram air induction system.
Genuine seat boot tidy.
Big 330mm Godspeed two piece front brakes and braided Hel lines.

Fitted these forge black anodised strut covers the other day that I acquired from another forum member.

Old ones were looking tired and broken.

New ones on.

Engine bay is looking mint mate. Giving me lots of ideas...
I have a boot tidy tray. It's not in best condition but they are as rare as rocking horse poo so I grabbed it while I could. Even has straps for an umbrella but makes a good weapon holder...

At long last I have all of my new wheels.

Team dynamics pro race 1.2 in 18". Wanted to keep a purposeful Motorsport type look and love these.

Ordered them back in May but one came with a slight blemish. To cut a long story short I have been waiting ever since for another one to be sent out which came this week.

They have messed me about so much i told them I wanted a full refund so they offered me the one with a very tiny paint defect size of a 5p piece for free as an apology. Don't mind if I do. Good enough for a spare and nice to have a full set!

Got a new set of Goodyear eagle f1 as2 tyres to go on as well.

Getting tyres fitted tomorrow then they are going to KDS detailing for some gtechniq c1 and exo protection. They should be on the car by the end of next week. Can't wait!!!

So waiting for the wheels which should be ready Wednesday.

Decided I wanted to service the forge 007 as its one of the few things I have not touched and was already on the car when I bought it.

Taken apart and cleaned up.

Was very surprised to see it fitted with a green spring. Seeing as my boost peaks at 22.3 psi this is not ideal.

Got straight into forge and have a yellow one coming first class tomorrow. Be interesting to see the difference.

So got the new spring and fitted it.

And done the n249 bypass while I was at it.

Just need a test run now and see what difference if any it makes.

Collected my wheels today from KDS detailing.

They are Team Dynamics pro race 1.2 in glitter silver. 18 x 8j. They have been wrapped in Goodyear eagle f1 as2 tyres 225/40/18 and treated to a coat of gtechniq c1 and Exo to protect them.

Popped them on the car and very happy with how they look.

Very tight clearance on the callipers but apparently is normal.

Currently being ran without spacers. Will see how I go. Not sure I'm perfectly happy with the stance as I ran 10 + 15 spacers on the standard wheels and although the Tds are .5 inch wider they are a tiny bit short on poke compared to my other set up.

Oem alloys will be kept for winter wheels now!

Thanks mate I'm really happy with them.

Need to get out and have a drive and test.

Also need to see how the yellow spring has affected the DV. I'm thinking running 22psi on the green spring may even have an internal boost leak if it is only rated to 16psi.

N249 now bypassed too so see what that does too.

So all in all very happy with the recent mods. The wheels are spot on with no fouling even though they are a snug fit. But I think they look awesome.

The DV spring change and n249 seems better too. The grottos response and boost divert seem more aggressive and instant. Maybe it's in my head, who knows but I like it.

Have been working on this past few days. Got hold of a jabbasport heat shield which I have been after for ages as they seem to fit spot on but reluctant to pay the price new. Got this one from a forum member and had quite a few marks in it.

So I got some etch primer and decided to prime and crinkle black paint it like the rocker cover and TB.

Then got some red trim edging to finish it off.

Yo mate I'm gonna have a go at sorting my boot out. Current boot carpet is full of dog hair that I can't remove so gonna chuck it out, lay some sound proofing down on boot floor and spare wheel well then cover it with some black acoustic cloth, off eBay.
With left over cloth I'm gonna have a go at re-covering my boot tidy, try and freshen it up a bit.
Will let you know if it's worth it, how I get on.
