Cheers Tom. I love the wheels really make a difference and totally how I want her to look. Should have the heat shield and filter in properly this week so watch this space for that.

After that will probably be the big brake kit fitted next month!

It's getting there. Coming to a bit of a dead end soon though. Still got the heat shield to put in and may play about with the cold air feed. Got a heat shield for the loom for coil packs coming this week. Have to pop tyre on my spare TD wheel and put that in the boot but then il be done for this year I think.

Next year trying to justify forging the internals and putting a pro 4 manifold on. That should map me to 300 ish and tonnes of torque. Will also be foundations set for hybrid turbo. We shall see.

So finally sorted out the induction system. Decided to get rid of the air box and panel filter and go for an open cone and heat shield fed by the 3inch air feed I already have in place.

Got hold of. Jabbasport heat shield cheap from another forum member as I know they are an awesome fit.

It was scratched and marked but I wanted to paint it anyway to suit the bay.

Coated it with some etch primer.

This helped the crinkle black paint bond. The aim to match the throttle body and rocket cover I have already done.

Then ordered some red edging to finish it off.

Loving it.

Next was to fit.

Got some SFS 80mm hose to come off of the MAF and a 80mm by 50mm long alloy joiner hose to connect to my new dry foam ram air filer.

Fitted the heat shield. Bolts to wing and bracket to or of the air box bolt points.

Fits nicely around the strut brace too.

Then it all in.

And the bay now as it stands.

Lol cheers mate. Pretty much done in there for the time being. Got a coil pack heat shield to fit but other than that it will remain as it is!

End of the month the big brakes are going on and front anti roll bar.

Can't wait.

Next step will be diff and clutch.

As promised the coil pack heat shield. I done away with the red plastic loom tidy and fitted this instead.

It's from Miggz at FSU Developments. Looks the part and should help keep heat off the coil packs and loom.

Awesome bloke, very friendly and spot on delivery within the week.

Really looks the part.

While I was tinkering I also tidied up the fuel rail a bit and re routed the injector wiring and got rid of the ugly black tray it sat in.

Right so tomorrow there are a couple of big things going on.

Been a while since I have changed anything massive performance wise but I think these should make a huge difference...

Godspeed 330mm two piece rotors
Calliper spacers
Pagid blue rs4-2 pads
Hel braided lines
Ate dot 4 fluid

Eibach uprated front anti roll bar and poly bushes.
New drop links.

As it stands the brakes feel amazing. Not been on a proper drive yet to properly test them and the anti roll bar so il post again soon letting you know.

Ordered a few little bits this weeks so only tiny subtle mods.

Changed reverse lights to led ones as I didn't realise how dull and yellow the oem ones are.

And a before and after comparison, sorry it's daylight but you get the idea.

Then changed front and rear indicators to Phillips silver vision ones.

Before and after comparison gets rid of the orange look when not on.

And the front.

Have ordered some smoked mk6 fiesta side indicators and chrome/Amber flash 501 bulbs to fit. That should finish the look nicely.
