Hey guys, my Ibiza have cruise control, well the first man who own the car install it. And I want to know how it's been installed. Because it's was working and now it's stoped working I don't knowe if it's beacuse I got vss impossible signal fault p0501. Btw if some one could help me with the fault code that i got it will be great. Thank you for helping and again sorry for my English

I'd remove the cowling from the steering wheel and trace the wires that presumably aren't wrapped up with the main loom, check for chafed wire sleeving and split wires, pins that has been pulled and kinked wires that may be split inside the sleeving. Its very possible that a retrofitted loom could have got caught in something, especially when it is fitted around moving parts like the steering column and pedal box.
