PD150 oil temp gauge?

Has nybody got a guide or can guide me through how to fit an oil temp gauge to a pd150?
Had a search here and on google but couldn't find anything.
I read something about there being the sender on the oil filter hosing and being able to do somethign with that?

Not sure if i should have posted this here or in the tdi section, so sorry!

there is a plugged hole on the oil filter housing you can take out and the sensor that the oil temp gauge comes with you wind in and run a cable back to the gauge in the car
