Pd or cr?

I know this sounds a bit daft but how can i tell if my engine is the PD or the CR engine? Its a 2.0 prefacelift mk2 FR 09 plate. Thanks in advance

Engine code off the sticker on the belt cover, also the rocker cover just looking at it

BMN is 170 PPD, BKD is 140PD. Easiest way to tell is look at the rear hatch glass, If the glass has a steel bodywork frame around it its a PD, If the glass goes right to the edge of the hatch its a Common rail engine.

the really easy way is to look at the fog-lights and wing mirrors

and all pre-fl are PD.
