Engine code

Hiya guys sounds a bit dumb i know but have searched my engine bay to find the code but cant see it anywere i know it begins with 3 letters followed by a sequence of numbers e.g. auq12345 but cant aee this anywere all i can find is a sticker on top right of bay describing the car what mk it is and a few other thing but nothing starting with auq ? Am i being thick or looking in the wrong place

front offside corner of the engine, letters facing vertically upwards so on a horizontal part. it will have the 3 letters. but i dont think it has the numbers too,
well thats assuming 1.8t engine.
what engine have you got?

Yeah 1.8t 180 lc will take a look in a bit will the engine code be on the v5 aswell or only on the vehicle

No need opened up my service book and its on a sticker in the front of there AUQ brill can now order new turbo
